Recommended fabrics for the baseball uniform include cotton, denim, flannelette, and wool. About four yards of military braid is required for the baseball uniform.
The little guy on the lower left is really nicely turned out, in his cool summer seersucker outfit with matching blue socks and saddle shoes.
Only the pattern pieces for the shorts appear to have been used.
Updated to add instructions for cap.

Hey Andrea.. where'd your Easter egg post go?? I wanted to let you know that I made my own Easter dress from a 1940's pattern. I had a dickens of a time with it (through no fault of the pattern though, I'm embarrassed to admit!) I'll be posting pictures tomorrow if you'd like to see☺
The Easter egg post got moved to andreacesari.com, where it should have gone in the first place (not that it was terribly interesting, but I like the way the picture came out.)
Looking forward to seeing your photos of your Easter dress.
I liked the pictures too... the colors were beautiful☺
andrea,
does this set of patterns include the hat? if so, what sort of advise do they give with regards to it's construction?
i'm going to have to look for this pattern for olen...
Hello Jim,
I've updated the post to show the instructions for the cap. There are some wonderful vintage patterns for kids - happy hunting.
So how darn cute is this? I would love to make this for my grandson who is 6 and a HUGE baseball fan, and a GREAT ball player. Wouldn't it be too cute to have a picture of him in this!
Hugs, Sharon B
